About Novus Acumen

I am Myron Blaine. I have spent more than twenty-five years in enterprise data and technology across financial services and manufacturing, first inside large organizations and, since 2014, as an independent consultant.

Novus Acumen is my consultancy. It holds the contract and I do the work, often alongside AWS partner teams and a small network of associates whose depth matches my own. That structure keeps the practice small and senior while still scaling to what an engagement needs.

My background runs from founding an enterprise architecture function at a large manufacturer, to directing enterprise data platforms for a regulated insurer, to more recent data and AI modernization for Tier-1 financial institutions. The through line is the same: architecture that is governed, measurable, and still standing after the consultants leave.

I stay hands-on. Python, SQL, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, and AI-assisted engineering are daily tools, not distant memories. I hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Master of Science in Data Science, and I bring the same delivery discipline to a data pipeline that I bring to a modernization roadmap.
